Rodney Hyman has practised as a specialist plant, machinery and equipment valuer for more than forty years, twenty of those years which he represented clients as an expert witness.

Rodney is an independent Valuation Counsel consulting to legal practitioners, government and major infrastructure owners running a specialty practice in complex valuations of plant, machinery and equipment, often acting as an expert witness.

Rodney has appeared in State and Federal courts and provided expert reports for matters from Perth to Sydney and from Darwin to Adelaide. He has provided expert witness reports in relation to assets as diverse as a Venetian Glass Chandelier, a fire damaged Lebanese Bread manufacturing plant and a multi-million dollar pet food manufacturing plant, not to mention power stations, mobile phone networks and other infrastructure assets.

Rodney is accredited as an Expert Witness by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also the only quadruple qualified plant, machinery and equipment valuer in Australia.
